Great service and excellent food at a reasonable price

The quality of the food seemed rushed and was under seasoned. Was given a huge block of cheese in my taco instead of shredding it like advertised in the photos. I was expecting so much more from the reviews given. Was just passing through and happy to never come again.

Quick service, friendly stqff, and excellent food. They really did a great job fixing the building up too, its very clean.

Food was good, atmosphere pleasant, good friendly service. Could have gotten chips and salsa out quicker, will go back and try another dish!!

The flavors of the food mixed with the size of our entree and the wonderful employees the best Mexican restaurant I have been on many many years.

I was surprised at the meal presentation but the over all flavor was great.

This is a very good restaurant with some of the nicest staff in town. I did not give 5 stars because they do not serve black beans. Hopefully they reintegrate that product back into their menu. Otherwise, a good place to go with good service.

Full disclosure - over a year ago when this place opened I came here and gave it a bad review. From my understanding, it switched owners not too long after and I have since been back several times. The street tacos are pretty good. I've had good, friendly service here as well. I do wish they would get their liquor license because I love margaritas but I would definitely still eat here again. I like it.

Nice clean restaurant with excellent food and good portions. The prices vs quality of food rival any restaurant in indy. With all the Mexican restaurants around this is my new favorite. The service was too noch my drink never went empty which is a pet peeve of mine. One more bonus they serve BEER ..

We were told this location had a new owner so we decided to try it again. The food was way better than the first time we tried it. The service was on point and the server was friendly and fast! The food was very good and we received very generous portions. We will definitely be back!

Three of us went in around 4:30 on Thursday (2/27). We were seated promptly and had our drink order taken. No issues so far. But then we waited over 15 minutes for him to come back and take our order. There was only 1 other customer in the place. He took our order, Chile con queso, Michoacana burrito, chicken fajita enchiladas and flautas. He forgot our queso but still charged us for it. All of the food was dry and tasted sour/off. You could tell the meat was dry and not fresh. The cheese sauce had a weird tint to it. It was like eating sour jerky. On the short 10 minute drive home, one of our group immediately began exhibiting stomach problems. And the other two of us immediately began to get sick. All 3 of us got terrible food poisoning and will NEVER go back. Dont waste your money on microwaves food and getting sick.

Food was fresh and great. Service was perfect even though we'r came just before close. Definitely a new favorite!

100% 🔥 best Mexican Restaurant in 100 miles. Everything flavored authentic. Queso is thee best. Elcharos & El Puelbetos needs to take lessons. Enjoy!

Very poor service today. Took 40 minutes before a waiter decided to take our order and took an hour and 10 minutes for us to get our food. The food was fine but could be better and the desert was good despite the black hair found in it. Definetly not impressed with this visit and could definitely be better!

This restaurant is under new ownership. The food is better than ever. You will not be disappointed. We were promptly met and seated. Everything is neat and clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. Menu has plenty of choices. We had the Street Tacos and the lunch special of an enchilada soft taco and frijoles. The order came out quickly and the waitress checked back in a timely manner to make sure we were happy. The food was excellent with each item having it's own distinct flavor. We were more than pleased with the service and our meal and will definitely return.

The service was lovely and kind, the food delicious, and the chips and salsa quickly refilled. They were considerate of my needs with my son and offered a more logical solution for feeding him, and they were tolerant of him being only 3 and a bit of a mess. Will happily recommend to friends and return as well, myself.

I've been to this establishment 3 times before. Each time has been amazing. The service is nice, the waiters and waitresses are really pleasant. The food there is just fantastic, ive loved everything I've had, and they've got a nice diverse menu of ALL SORTS of mexican cuisine, it's genuinely tough to decide what to get. Their queso, with their chips is heaven on earth, if they sold their queso in stores, I swear to god, id buy it in droves. The atmosphere is nice, it's got a quaint authentic feel to it. All together, I have thoroughly enjoyed every visit here, and I HIGHLY recommend it to anyone hungry for some Mexican

This is visit number 4, no different than beforegreat service, original home made recipies.Management of ownersMarie, & her husband this establishment is an intended work of art.Long in it's setup, fantastic in finish.No bite isn't delicious I'd say they did everything just right.My favorite thoughts about this eatery is it's primitive theme.No fancy overpriced furniture it's rawness speaks on its own.The ceiling center piece a mobile hung pallet above your head roped lights hand cut glass emptied tequila bottles a number one attraction, just tilt yourhead up,I'm sure you'll agree...they even refill theirsalt, & pepper shakers they don't buy that throw away stuff that's made me notice everything. With no fancy everything is their center piece of why I refer to it as a raw...not an overpriced theme..I'm happy, for them from me many recommends, I'll eat there again.

I was pleasantly surprised! The majority of the Mexican restaurants around this area are actually Mexican American. I like how their food had a bit more variety and a little more kick to it then what you get elsewhere. My six-year-old, being a 6 year old, ordered a burger. I was extremely surprised by the quality of it. Usually you end up getting a flat Patty out of a freezer. This one was thick and juicy and smelled delicious! I just may order one for myself next time we visit!

Food was delicious & came in a timely manner, courteous and knowledgeable wait staff!

Chose a Friday night to try this place. Although fairly busy, a little over half full, was able to be seated quickly. Waitress was at our table right away. Drinks and chips directly after and order taken. Decided on taco salad with chicken. Order delivered not long after, served nice and hot. Even though the shell was cooked a little too long, the salad contained a generous serving of chicken. Not going to beat Parsons El Pueblito, but would order again. So, service was very good. Clean restaurant. Good food quality. I did glance at plates on the way in and out. Saw lots of clean plates and to go boxes. Sign of plenty of good food choices.
